Most Unpredictable European leagues

European Football Leagues Analysis

No matter the quality of the league, its boring having to watch the same team winning again and again. We all like it when underdog clubs like Leicester City ends up winning the League. Just to analyse which European leagues has the diverse winner and hence exciting and unpredictable and vice versa I have prepared the list of Winners & Runner Ups from the E League and European competition winners from 2000. Here it is link to the spread sheet. 

There are some obvious results like since 2000 La liga is most dominant is European competitions and non obvious ones like Italian clubs have never reached final of Europa Cup since 2000.In terms of home leagues from 2000, French Ligue 1 has the most winners but for the last 10 years, EPL has most different winners. A boring thing to note is, since last 10 years only 3 clubs have finished in top 2 in the La Liga.
I don't know why I made this but may be because this was lock down or I love tinkering with Google Sheets. All The major leagues are covered and as an bonus I have also analyzed Champions League and Europa cup as well including the league from my country. I have presented last 10 years data and data since 2000. I do not follow the games so much but hopefully I will update this sheet regularly or may be not.
